About Me

With a passion for learning and creativity, I leverage my experience in lesson-creation and visual design to create high-impact learning experiences. I specialize in creating engaging and visually-appealing learning experiences while catering to diverse audiences.

I began my career as a classroom music teacher, and I now maintain that same enthusiasm for learning as an instructional designer. I have spent countless hours crafting curricula to better allow me to reach many diverse learners in the past, which has seamlessly transformed into designing courses and learning experiences for diverse adult learners in the present.

I am a passionate musician and have been playing my primary instrument, the viola, for over twenty years. I learned early on the value in "practice makes permanent" - or in other words - perfect practice makes perfect. Providing learners with effective means to practice their new skills gives them the best opportunity for growth. I apply everything I've learned from my previous professional experiences to my work, and that contributes to my unique perspective on learning design.
